Wall plastering
The plaster is what makes a court play. We render and finish squash court walls so the ball comes off true, with no dead spots and no hollow patches.
Squash court plaster is a specialist render, not ordinary building plaster. It has to be flat, hard and consistent so the rebound is the same across the whole wall. We prepare the background, render in coats and finish to a clean, even white.
We deal with the common problems too: blown plaster, hollow areas that thud instead of ping, and cracks that throw the ball off line.
- The walls have dead or hollow spots
- Plaster is cracked, blown or coming away
- The finish is grey, marked or patchy

Common questions
What is wrong with normal plaster?
Ordinary plaster is too soft and not consistent enough. Squash render is harder and laid for an even rebound, which is what keeps the court playing true.
Can you fix dead spots?
Yes. Dead spots are usually hollow or blown plaster. We cut them out and re-render so the rebound is consistent again.
Do you do the lines as well?
Yes, we re-mark the lines to the correct dimensions once the finish is ready.
