Floor restoration
A good court floor grips when you push off and gives a true bounce. We restore sprung timber floors that have gone worn, slippery or dull.
Floor restoration is sanding back the timber, repairing any damage, sealing with the right finish and re-marking the lines. The result is a floor with grip underfoot and a consistent bounce.
If a floor is beyond restoring, we will tell you straight and talk through replacement rather than papering over it.
- The floor is slippery or has lost its grip
- The surface is worn, marked or dull
- The lines are faded or in the wrong place

Common questions
Can a slippery floor be fixed?
Usually, yes. A worn or over-sealed floor can be sanded back and finished correctly to bring the grip back.
How often should a floor be restored?
It depends on use, but a well-used club floor benefits from restoration every several years. We will give you a realistic view.
Do you replace floors too?
If a floor is past restoring, we will talk you through replacement rather than waste your money on a sand and seal.
